Michael Yudin's New York-based factual production company MY Entertainment has sold an original, 12-part paranormal series Help! My House Is Haunted to UKTV.
Now in its thirteenth season, the 12x60’ series features an expert team of international investigators, Chris Fleming, Sandy Landar and Barri Ghai, who will look into local incidences of paranormal activity reported by owners of homes who believe them to be haunted. Families present a case file to the experts who then research historical evidence. The series will air early in 2018 on Really, home to Ghost Adventures in the UK and paranormal event #Frightday.Help! My House Is Haunted! is a co-production with UK indie Back2Back Productions and the executive producers are Zak Bagans, David Notman-Watt for Back2Back and Michael Yudin for MY Entertainment, with international distribution rights awarded to Alfred Haber Television. It was created by Zak Bagans, the creator, executive producer and host of Travel Channel's hit US series Ghost Adventures.“Our viewers love Zak so we're thrilled to have another Zak Bagans show exclusive to Really,” said Emma Sparks, acquisitions and co-production manager, UKTV. “I am delighted to be working with Michael, Zak and David on this brand new series. My Entertainment are leaders in the paranormal genre so we know we'll have a hit series and it's great that the team will be coming over to the UK to investigate the paranormal activity in our family homes.”Yudin added: “We launched two development initiatives over the past few years: a global strategy to co-develop and sell programming not just in the US, but around the world – and a partnership with the incredibly talented and prolific Zak Bagans. I'm delighted to see both strategies come together and prove successful with the announcement of this series commission for UKTV. But it always takes a willing partner, and that in we have in Emma Sparks. The truth is, this would have never happened without Emma's foresight and determination.”
