The show will be produced in partnership with Shipyard Entertainment and distributed by American Public Television (APT) to more than 80% of the US market via more than 270 public-television stations. It will also be shopped internationally as a format, with MYE agreeing a deal that will see Kew Media Distribution handle international sales.Based on an original format concept by MYE entitled Hidden Assets, Legacy List With Matt Paxton turns on the premise that the most important museum in the world may well be in your parents’ basement, attic, closet – or even under their floorboards. The 6×60’ series combines non-fiction storytelling with public-television sensibilities to explore histories and hidden treasures that come to light when clearing out family homes. The show’s host is Matt Paxton, who is moving to public television after nine seasons fronting hit show Hoarders for cablenet A&E. A team of expert collectors and advisors will join Paxton in the show. Now in production, the programme is slated to air on public television nationwide in early 2020.
